Michał Sławecki headlines Szymanowski/Lutosławski Reinterpreted in Łódź

Polish countertenor Michał Sławecki will take center stage at the Łódź Philharmonic on December 13, 2024, for Szymanowski/Lutosławski Reinterpreted, an innovative project by Wojciech Urbański blending classical music with electronic elements. Known for his ethereal voice and exceptional artistry, Sławecki will reinterpret two of Poland’s greatest composers, Karol Szymanowski and Witold Lutosławski, in a groundbreaking format that bridges tradition and modernity.

Sławecki’s illustrious career has included performances at prestigious venues worldwide, collaborating with leading orchestras and conductors. Looking ahead, Sławecki will perform Henryk Górecki’s Symphony No. 3 (Symphony of Sorrowful Songs) with the Dresden Philharmonie on April 12 and 13, 2025, under the baton of Krzysztof Urbański. Following this, he joins the Berner Symphonieorchester in Bern on April 24, 2025, and the Münchner Philharmoniker in Munich on April 30, 2025 for the same iconic work.
