Angela Schisano makes her role debut as Dorabella in Così fan tutte at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna

On May 27/30, 2025, Angela Schisano makes her house debut at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, performing for the first time Dorabella in Così fan tutte by W.A. Mozart.

Schisano, praised for her Rossini’s portrayal, especially Rosina (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) and Angelina (La Cenerentola), tackles the Mozart’s character with her “warm, soft voice” (Operaclick) and her “passionate” temperament (Teatro.it).

This will not be her only Mozart role in the coming months: she will make her role debut as Giacinta in La Finta Semplice. Other notable upcoming engagements include Rosina in Barbiere and her third collaboration with Maestro Antonio Pappano.
