Angela Schisano to make his role debut and triple house debuts in Rossini's Mosé in Egitto
Mezzo-soprano Angela Schisano will make her debut on October 18th (8 p.m.) at the Teatro Comunale di Modena, performing the role of Amenofi in the new production of Gioachino Rossini's Mosé in Egitto. The musical direction of the opera, presented in the second Neapolitan version of 1819, is by Mº Giovanni Di Stefano, while the production is signed by Pier Francesco Maestrini, sets and video by Nicolás Boni and costumes by Stefania Scaraggi. Michele Pertusi will play the title role. Second performance on October 20th (3:30 p.m.)
Rossini's opera will be staged the following week at the Teatro Municipale in Piacenza (Oct. 25, 8 p.m./Oct. 27, 3:30 p.m.) and in November at the Teatro Municipale Valli in Reggio Emilia, on Nov. 15th (at 8 p.m.) and Nov. 17th (at 3:30 p.m.).
